Geological Society member subscriptions
Members of the Geological Society of London receive access to selected components of the Lyell Collection free with their membership. Those members opting to subscribe to JGS as their journal will receive access to the full online archive to 1845; those subscribing to QJEGH receive access to the archive to 1967. In addition, all members receive free access to all Special Publications, Engineering Geology Special Publications and Memoirs published prior to the current or previous three calendar years. From January 2008 access to all the most recently published volumes will also be possible on payment of an additional fee. Full details will be made available to members later in 2007.
Geological Society members will receive a print copy of their journal as well as online access via the Lyell Collection. General information on member benefits can be found on the Society's website.
Non-member access is only possible for those qualifying for access via a subscribing institution. For those individuals not qualifying for this access individual articles can be purchased on a pay-per-view basis, or Lyell Collection subscriptions can be purchased at the full institutional rate.
Institutional subscriptions
Institutions may subscribe to either the Lyell Collection Complete, or selected components. Click here for details of library and institutional subscription prices and conditions of purchase.
To request a trial subscription email sales{at}geolsoc.org.uk stating your first and last name, your phone number and your institution's or company's name. Once this information is processed the Society will email you your access details.
